My name is Huong Tran. I am a passionate travel blogger based in Australia. I’ve been blogging, traveling, and researching popular tourist destinations for many years now, so I have in-depth knowledge about the location I’m writing about.
I traveled extensively in Vietnam with many trips to different parts of Vietnam by motorbike and trains. I love northern Vietnam (Sapa, Mu Cang Chai, Ha Giang) with beautiful mountains, spectacular passes, and stunning scenery. I lived in Hanoi for many years, and had summer vacation to Halong Bay and Ninh Bình many times.
Central Vietnam (Da Nang, Hoian, Hue, Dalat, Buon Ma Thuot, Phan Thiet, Nha Trang) also has beautiful beaches and incredible landscapes and historic sites.
In southern Vietnam, I visited Ho Chi Minh City many times. Me and my friend took bike trips along the Mekong delta area in 2013 and had fun visiting Can Tho, floating market, and national parks.
I started my first abroad trip to Bali in 2011, and since then, I have traveled to many places. My favorite travel destinations are Australia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and South Korea.
I have a few years backpacking around different parts of Australia like Perth, Tasmania, Adelaide, Sydney, Cairns, Coff Harbour, Armidale, Cairns, Darwin, and Port Douglas. I am now settling down in Melbourne, one of the most livable cities in the world, even though the weather is kinda weird.
I traveled to Thailand many times as a solo traveler and with my friends when I was staying in Vietnam. My favorite destinations in Thailand include Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, Hua Hin, and Pattaya.
I have a big passion for Japan too. Luckily, I had a good trip in Japan, visiting popular cities like Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, and Hakone.
One of the most memorable trips in my life is catching a bus from Ho Chi Minh City to Siem Reap in Cambodia with my best friend. We explored many places together like Phnom Penh, Angkor Wat, Siem Reap, and Koh Rong.
I also have great memories of visiting Singapore and taking a bus to Malaysia. A pen pal friend helped me a lot to get around, arrange public transport, and show me places to go.
The list is going on. I will update later!
I started this blog to note my journey. I hope you will find something helpful from my travel adventures.
Be a safe travelers!
